Dr. McLeod grew up in Calgary participating in numerous sports and was always fascinated by the body and what it can do. She did not discover chiropractic until undergrad when she was exploring various health and wellness occupations while dealing with “regular headaches” that developed after a car accident. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary in 2010, she moved to Toronto to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic in 2014 from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. McLeod uses manual chiropractic manipulation, mobilization, soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, and rehabilitation to help decrease pain, restore function and improve quality of life. All of her treatments involve hands-on therapy to find the right type of care for each individual’s preferences. Additionally Dr. Teighen has completed continuing education in Webster Technique, Thompson Technique, Activator Methods, Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, Active Release Technique and Functional Release. Out of the office, Dr. McLeod loves traveling, skiing/snowboarding, paddleboarding and hikes in the beautiful mountains and trails around Calgary.
