Acupuncture

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is an ancient treatment that uses sterile needles to stimulate the nervous system.  In traditional acupuncture, needles are inserted into specific points along channels that correspond to certain organs and systems, allowing for the flow of Qi energy.
Medical acupuncture collaborates traditional Chinese acupuncture with the knowledge of anatomy, pathology and physiology, and modern based medicine to accurately assess and treat patients. Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine sterile needles into neurofunctional points to stimulate the nervous system. Acupuncture can treat numerous conditions related to the neuromusculoskeletal system by decreasing pain, increasing circulation, and increasing energy..

Dr. Natalie Carrington  (D.C.), and Dr. Tamara McDonald (D.C.) are qualified to perform acupuncture.
