Active Release Techniques (ART)

What is Active Release Techniques?

.Active Release Techniques is a movement massage/soft tissue system technique that is effectively used to treat  muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves. Many symptoms that can be resolved through the use of Active Release Techniques are derived from the same cause, overused muscles. Overused muscles, or repetitive strain injuries, can create tough, dense scar tissue that restricts tissues that need to move freely throughout your body. This increase in scar tissue causes muscles to become shorter and weaker, decreasing mobility and strength, therefore resulting in pain.

The following conditions can be treated through the use of Active Release Techniques; headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, rotator cuff injuries, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow.
