Originally from Calgary, Dr. Tamara McDonald always had a passion for keeping healthy and active. Upon the completion of her studies at the University of Alberta, she realized that chiropractic was the perfect opportunity for her to have a career where she could promote health. She graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in June 2014 with her Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C). Dr. McDonald furthered her education with certifications in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, Active Release Techniques, and Graston Techniques.
In her spare time, Dr. McDonald loves to spend time with her husband, daughter and dog and keeps moving in her with yoga, cycling, and strength training. She loves to spread the message of health and wellness. She has obtained certifications in personal training and fitness instruction, taught spin classes at YYC Cycle and yoga at Centered on Centre. She even taught a senior's fitness class twice weekly at the Salvation's Army Meighen Retirement Residence while in Toronto. Dr, McDonald is committed to facilitating the health of the surrounding community. She wants to promote wellness and independent living, using an up-to-date research based approach. |
